Loowoko Hiking Backpack – 50L – Waterproof

Even if you’re not planning on doing the Three Peaks Challenge anytime soon, it’s useful to have a large backpack to call upon from time to time. And there are so many backpacks out there these days, it’s difficult to know where to start.

Well, we suggest this 50L backpack from Loowoko. It’s water and tear-resistant with comfortable reinforced straps, essential for carrying a load on your back. The 50L capacity is big enough for everything you could need on a multi-day trip and there are pockets on the sides, top, front and even on the hip strap – perfect for easy access to your phone for a top-of-the-hill selfie! The top loading main compartment has a ‘gusseted girdle closure’ which to be honest we’ve no idea what that means but it somehow makes a rucksack sound sexy.

It’s been designed to be ergonomic to protect your back while you are carrying a heavy load and reduce the burden on your shoulders. It’s even got a built-in waterproof cover for when the rain sets in for the day, which it will of course!

There’s a good choice of colours too – Orange being our particular favourite. And compared to similar sized backpacks out there, this is great value for money.
