ieGeek Security Camera with Two Way Audio

Ever seen the movie The Secret Life of Pets? Well if you’ve ever wondered what your pet dog (or cat, goldfish, alligator, wife etc) did when you are at work now you can find out. This particular ieGeek WiFi model is one we like for a number of reasons;

• It uses QR code to scan and connect quickly and stably within 30 seconds or so. Less faff than other models. And we can’t abide faff.
• The picture quality is excellent – this is because it uses H265 compression technology, which outdoes H264 at the same network speed. But everyone knows that, right?
• The two way audio with built in Hi-Fi audio function means you can talk to your dog from your mobile phone. Ok he may not reply (if he does, we suggest you get on Britain’s Got Talent) but he’ll love hearing your voice.
• You are able to connect via Wi-Fi but also cable which is good if your Wi-Fi isn’t that sturdy.
• It also works well on 4G (others need Wi-Fi only.)
• You can remotely steer the camera from the app on your phone, and night vision is clear.

Of course a camera like this has many uses, not just to have a chit chat with your pooch. But we use ours for that reason, and Reggie (the Man Deals dog) is certainly happier when he hears our voice.
